Rooted Within
The Heartlifter Way begins by tending the roots.
- Why do I keep tripping over the same relationship roots?
- Why do I let people treat me this way?
- Why can’t I stand up for myself?
- Why am I emotionally exhausted all the time?
Being rooted within means your sense of stability doesn’t depend on what’s happening around you. It comes from within you. It’s the ability to stay grounded when life feels uncertain. To pause instead of react. To listen to your body, your emotions, your inner voice.
The resources below are designed to help you walk through the process of becoming Rooted Within.

Order your own copy of my book, Overcoming Hurtful Words: Rewrite Your Own Story. This is my second book, and I wrote it because I needed to learn more about being rooted within. I think it is a great additional read on The Heartlifter Way.
Consider it a life-coach-in-your-pocket.

Excerpt from Practice 2, "Welcome God into the Whys"
“Without a doubt, the perplexing pain of a crushed heart craves isolation. It longs to sit alone in a room, lights out, covers over the head. But we must be careful. Danger lurks in the darkness of such a scary space. I’ve been there. When we close the blinds of our world in this manner, we open ourselves up to an even greater sadness that can lead into the rubble of depression, self-loathing, and the perilous pit of self-pity. This is a dangerous space for our heart. We must welcome God into the aching abyss of our pain. He can handle it and He will help you handle it. You may manage only a windless whisper-prayer like God help me, but there is more power in those three little words than you can ever imagine. Take a moment, right now. Close your eyes and open your hands. Palms up to heaven ready to receive your blessing from a God who sees you and loves you very much. “
