Becoming a Modern-Day Matriarch
For almost a decade, I’ve researched, developed, and written about the idea of becoming a Modern-Day Matriarch. As an author, I always think in “book projects,” but after the birth of each of my six grandchildren, ages 4 to 1 month old, the idea kept rising in my thoughts and spirit. Reviving this idea of “Matriarch” was becoming my reality.
I am “the elder woman,” whether I rise to that position or not. It is the truth.
Today, I ask you, “When you think of the word matriarch, what comes to mind?”
I’d love to know.
Q: What does it mean to become a Modern-Day Matriarch in My Family?
