Podcasting has been described as “the invisible art of audio storytelling,” by audio scholar Siobhan McHugh. Research to Action describes it as having “a world in your ear.”
One of the primary arms of Heartlift International is the weekly podcast, “Today’s Heartlift with Janell” on which Janell creates remarkable conversations with authors, thought leaders, and luminaries with the hope of making home and family the safest, most secure place to be. Three strategic areas of the podcast: mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
As of this moment:
- We are at 105, 354 downloads and counting.
- Our influence extends to every continent: North America, Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, and South America. We are reaching the world.
- We are currently ranked #5 on Feedspot’s Top Mental Health Podcasts.
Trauma-informed Community Support & Education
One of the five arms of Heartlift International is offering trauma-informed community support and education. Your support enabled me to keynote two events for a regional domestic violence shelter and organization and donate 75 copies of Rock-Solid Families, Overcoming Hurtful Words and Stronger Every Day. The Genieve Shelter, led by the remarkable Marleisa Montgomery, offers transitional housing, information, education, and training services for victims of domestic violence.
