“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”
― Ralph Waldo EmersonThanksgiving always feels like New Years to me.
I reflect on the events of the last year.
I acknowledge all the manifold ways that God was with me.
In the good. In the hard. In the beautiful. In the ugly.
This time last year, my mom was in rehab recovering from brain surgery. She wasn’t able to come to Thanksgiving at my house. Instead, we visited her with a plate full of leftovers.
But, this year, after one heck of a year, she will be at our table. Rejoicing with a GREAT-FULL heart.
I am joining her. God is GREAT. He showed up over and over and over for us this past year.
My heart (and I know her heart) is FULL.
How has your GREAT God made your heart FULL this past year?
So glad you’ll have your mom with you!!! And, C’Rose too?
Yes, Karen…..first time Candace has been home in 6 YEARS, I was just informed. I thought it was three years….sure good
to have her around the table. Much Love to you, friend!
